Southern Nights will be making their debut performance on Sunday, Aug. 10 at Music on the Barge, Gull Lake Rotary Park, Gravenhurst commencing at 7:30 p.m.

This high-energy band of highly trained professional musicians and talented vocalists will keep the hits coming throughout the night.

The band is one of Toronto’s most exciting party bands, with a repertoire accommodating all styles of music. Artists such as Jimmy Buffet, CCR, Toby Keith, The Mamas & The Papas, Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, Eagles, Paul Simon, Dixie Chicks and Santana will be featured during the evening.

This group of talented and respected musicians has each dedicated years to studying and performing in all musical styles. So when they say they perform all styles of music with authenticity and artistry, they mean just that.

The seventh annual Gravenhurst Communities in Bloom Daisy Awards will be presented prior to the concert. Categories include the Best Residential Floral Display, Best Residential Landscape Design, Best Church Display, Best Commercial Display and Best Neighbourhood or Street.

Don’t miss Southern Nights at Music on the Barge Gull Lake Rotary Park on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m., as well at the CIB Daisy Awards.

Collections will be taken during the evening. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at Gravenhurst Centennial Centre.
